Day 1

PANGKALANBUUN - TANJUNG PUTING

On arrival at Pangkalanbuun you will immediately transfer to a Klotok/motor boat for a cruise up the Sekonyer River to Rimba Lodge. After checking in at Rimba Lodge, you will proceed to Tanjung Harapan in time for the Orang-utan feeding. Late in the afternoon, see the proboscis monkeys and wild Orang- utan by boat. Dinner and overnight are provided at the Lodge.

Day 2

RIMBA LODGE - PONDOK TANGGUI - CAMP LEAKEY - RIMBA LODGE

Breakfast at your Lodge before setting off on a full day excursion to see the orang-utans and other primates. You will see proboscis monkeys at Natai Lengkuas which is located along the left bank of the Sekonyer River to the north, on the boundary of Tanjung Puting National Park, about 45 mins upstream from where the right branch of the Sekonyer River leads to Camp Leakey. This area is valuable for hiking and walking through the natural forest vegetation where Proboscis Monkeys are often encountered in big groups near the river.

Natai Lengkuas was recently burned down by loggers under suspicious circumstances. Feeding time is at 11.30 hours. At Camp Leakey trek about half an hour through the rainforest, keeping your eyes out for the largest orang-utan known as the "King" at the feeding at Camp Leakey at 1400 hours.

Later in the afternoon, return to Rimba Lodge, and then on to Pangkalanbuun for the night.Check into hotel. Picnic Lunch box and dinner provided.

Day 3

RIMBA LODGE - PANGKALANBUUN

Breakfast at the hotel, lodge before returning to the airport at Pangkalanbuun for your flight to your next destination.
